Woodlands Rugby Division 1, Division 3, & Olde Boys

Sunday, August 5th, 2012

The Woodlands Rugby Club fields three sides – division 1, division 3, & olde boys.

The ability to field three sides allows all players of all ages and experience levels to compete in the game of rugby.  Our division 1 & 3 sides will play for a spot in the national playoffs in 2012-2013 season.  The club is highly involved within The Woodlands Community and is constantly giving back to arguably, the nations best place to live.  The Woodlands Rugby Club is therefore set in a perfect place to live, work, raise a family, and play top level rugby.   Arguably the best rugby pitch in the state and a long history of winning, it’s no wonder Woodlands Rugby is the fastest growing rugby club in the state.   We encourage ALL to come and experience The Woodlands Rugby Club.

Woodlands Rugby Volunteers for “Serve Our Seniors”Day

Woodlands Rugby Volunteering with The Woodlands Interfaith Church

Woodlands Rugby proudly joined forces with the Interfaith Church of The Woodlands and Keith Weaver for the “Service Our Seniors” day.  It is a program that helps senior citizens in the community with items around their home.  Woodlands Rugby was able to split up and take 6 different properties on the day, the most by any single organization at the event.

Hats off to those players that lent a helping hand in our fine community.  Let it be noted that several guys tried unsuccessfully to get there due to a scheduling snafu, The Woodlands Marathon kicked off on the same day.  The traffic & road closures were daunting to say the least.

Thank you to all from Woodlands Rugby who gave their time to our most valuable commodity – our seniors.

Woodlands Rugby Moves Forward!

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

The newest addition to Woodlands Rugby!

Woodlands RFC Family,

It’s no secret that over the last couple of years rugby, in this country, has gained a fair degree of respectability and experienced the type of exponential growth we all believed was inevitable. To move forward with our own beloved WRFC and keep the Club competitive and relevant it is our desire to expand by one day purchasing fields and a club house among other things. Recently, the Club had the opportunity to acquire a Coach/Bus that will allow the team to travel to tournaments and away matches in comfort and privacy.
