The newest addition to Woodlands Rugby!

Woodlands RFC Family,

It’s no secret that over the last couple of years rugby, in this country, has gained a fair degree of respectability and experienced the type of exponential growth we all believed was inevitable. To move forward with our own beloved WRFC and keep the Club competitive and relevant it is our desire to expand by one day purchasing fields and a club house among other things. Recently, the Club had the opportunity to acquire a Coach/Bus that will allow the team to travel to tournaments and away matches in comfort and privacy. For the price, the acquisition of this vehicle was a once in a lifetime opportunity; but because this was a relatively high dollar item our limited WRFC treasury has been substantially impacted. We recognize many of you have given generously to the Club on repeated occasions but we must again approach our charitable current and former Woodlands teammates to assist in subsidizing this expense.

We are asking any of you that are able to donate what you can to help replenish the funds spent on the new bus. $10, $100, $500, $1,000 or more will be thankfully accepted. The Club – your Club needs you. We are a registered 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. Please donate what you can to help bring Woodlands Rugby back on top of USA Rugby. Every dollar counts and is needed to grow this fine club.

UPDATE: The first road trip on the bus to LaPorte, Texas was a success! Thanks to all who have made this dream a reality.
